E B Comstock Middle School

As a student attending the last school year this year, I do feel the need to express what has been going on. Yes there were bad things going on around my first year, there were not that many support around as if the staff have just given up, my second year was a little better i have seen a percentage of fights go down and more people put in advance placement. Now with new teachers putting a lot more effort, for me it was great. The problem is the new students coming in and trying to live up the past reputation of the school has been known for. Wanting in to get into trouble because of rumors, Overall, it was a pleasure attending and learning and I do hope it gets better over time,

The only thing I could say is when you walk into this school you won't think that you're in America, but a third world country. My son attended the school for about a month. Not only was he mistreated by a bad students. (and by that I mean punched in the stomach by another student, his second week there.) But also by the Vice Principal who shoved him into the locker because he was not being cooperative. (my son was trying to explain that he was notthat he was not going outside and was mistaken for another student who is skipping) How can you ask for respect if your own educator is not giving it. Not in a million years would I take my kids here ever again.

this school is the worst.. please parent do not send your kids here.. I have a 14 yr old daughter that is attending and let me tell you, the teachers don't teach they sleep instead of doing their work , our be on their phone. My daughter told me that the math teacher well not teach you she'll give you work but not teach the material. KIDS are always fighting, skipping, not going to their correct class and Terry the principal does nothing about it. ALL they care bout if the kids dye their hair a certain color.

This school scores below average, it wasn't a good school when I went there and it still isn't a good school now that my child goes there. As a parent getting any type of help or answers from the administration staff is like playing a game of cat and mouse, they send you all over the place and leave you with nothing. They treat you with disrespect!
