9. I went to this school as a child and my son is there now. He loves the school and i do not have any major complaints

My child transferred to this school from a different district due to a relocation. We had no idea what to expect and had come from a very large, over crowded, high stakes district. We could not be happier. While state standardized testing is mention it is not the driven into their heads from the moment they step foot in the classroom. My child received dyslexia intervention services and they are very thorough and better than our previous district. The Principal is engaged and friendly. You see him everywhere and not holed in his office. Our teachers have been great with wonderful communication. Classes are relatively small and my child is actually making friendships here. I'm sad my child only gets to experience this school for one year. I wish we could turn back time and attend this school from the start.

My boys love this school! The teachers are top notch and there are several free extra curricular activities that are offered that allow my boys to build relationships with their peers outside of school. We transferred here from another Flower Mound school (rated the same) and this one is far better.

The problem that I am experiencing lately is that in the front of the school when we walk home, in order to cross the front intersection of the school (entrance to go to the cafeteria) the cars do not stop for pedestrians. Althought there are yield signs, cars does not follow the signs. The school should request for Safety Patrol volunteers like the Forestwood middle school has. This will improve the security of our children.
