Good Lord you'd think we're sending our kids to Dante's Fifth Circle if you read some of these reviews. Is Forestwood a perfect school? No. Is there such a thing that's publicly funded by your taxes? No. But the subtle distain if not overt hatred voiced by some people here for the staff and administration is out of bounds. I understand it's based on personal experiences but that's a focus group of one; the vast, silent majority of parents are more than pleased with Forestwood. If you and/or your child gets involved, you will be too.

I don't understand why their reviews were high. Bullying was swept under the table and administration was very weak.

When I sent my child here she would come home almost everyday bragging about how awesome her teachers were.

My daughter is in 7th grade. This school is excellent. They offer challenging courses in pre-AP and GT and have a good variety of electives, including robotics, which was really fun for her. The orchestra dept. is run by the most capable two ladies. They are truly gems!I don’t understand why some of the people here are complaining about too many rules in place, and academics being too hard. Shouldn’t we want things to get more challenging, instead of easier? That is how life is. When they meet these challenges head on and succeed, it makes them better individuals to participate in the world. The school has over 75% of their student population on the A, and AB honor rolls. That’s a major kudo!I drop off and pick my kiddo on a daily basis. The majority of kids seem a well adjusted and non-pretentious bunch. My daughter is happy here, well as happy as a ‘sullen’ tween can be, anyway. Go Falcons!
