East Handley Elementary School

I am a teacher and I like this school for my kids overall. There are some great teachers along with some that aren't. I do feel that some teacher in lower levels give an exuberant amount of homework as in 10 page packets and it is not modified if you have a student with modifications in place. I do have concerns with outside facilities. There is a serious lack of equipment and safety with the playground and field. The field is solid stickers and my kids shoes are covered with them and if a child falls, they too get covered. There is now just one piece of playground equipment and it is outdated. When need to make sure our students are just focusing on academics but holistically.

I grew up in East Handley Elementary and both my kids went there and my nephew currently attends there too. Love this school definently the best on the eastside and the teachers are awesome working with the parents. I would highly recommend this school.

dosent handle the bully situation the way it needs to be handled. the last two years my daughter has been bullied by the same person and all the school does is sit down and have lunch with the kids. n e ways my daughters bully probelm isn't any better it's worse.

This is the greatest School on the East side of Fort Worth. My daughter has gone here for two years.The teachers and the principle Mrs. Hill and all the staff are so awsome.This will be her last year here.If you 'll looking for a good Elementary School this is it.
