Meadowbrook Middle School

This is the 2nd year that my son has attended this school. The new principal, Mr McWilliams, seems to be very intent on improving things there. This school sits in a working class neighborhood where the large majority of children are disadvantaged. The school will improve with parent participation but with a large number of non English speaking parents, the situation is dire. We attended Open House and there were lots of parents there. We will keep our child there and try to be part of the solution and not the problem.

Abysmal. There have been numerous fights. My student has been assaulted twice in the last two school days. This school is simply not safe. Avoid at all costs.

This school is a nightmare. We just moved to the area and from the first day I took my son to school I could tell how unorganized this school was. My son was a A/B student but now his grade is going down the hill. Came to find out teachers didn't keep up with his work even on days he has excuse absents. School principal very rude and unprofessional when you talk to her. When I talked to her about the school rating and review that I got from FWISD she try to defense the school without no facts to back up her point. School you can walk in and walk anywhere in the school and nobody question you. There is always a police car park at school but I never see the officer there. I went to the school several times different time of the day and never saw the officer. This school is a 0/10 and worst than suck.

This is the worst school ever. Tell your children if they go there not to look at the teacher because they don't have any work to do. Because the teacher's are not teaching them. If you look at them then you will be sent to ISS for three days. When you go to the parent confrence the principal will take up for the teacher no matter what your child says. These teacher's lye.
