Wedgewood Elementary School

Both of my children are new to the school this year and are thriving. They are in second and fifth grades. They truly have a zero tolerance for bullying!

This is the worst school i have dealt with in my lifetime. All the teacher want to do is push some sort of medication on my child or some sort of outside counseling that he doesn't need. They are only looking for the extra money from the state for special needs children. The teachers for the last 3 years cannot even take the time to fill out their daily take home status folder. If nothing else, call or email me if there is an issue. I can promise I am 10 times busier at work than any teacher in this school and can still find time to call or email someone when the need arises. TERRIBLE SCHOOL

My daughters have attended Wedgwood first - 5th. We LOVE this school. The school is bright and cheery and the teachers truly care about the children's education as well as them as individuals . The new principal is very involved with all actives and does an amazing job making sure everyone is happy. We currently lived in Clearlake (rated much higher) however were my oldest attended for one year and was bullied everyday . They have a no bully policy and neither one of my daughters ever had any issues with bullying. My children have really thrived at this school and I feel confident they are very prepared for middle school.
