Fantastic school! Truly feels like a family - all teachers, admin and staff know each student by name. School nurse is top-notch!

For all of those great reviews, I do not believe any word of it. Before my daughter turned the age of 6, we were very uncertain to go into the Public school system. Do hear I go here to this site to read reviews from the parents, believing to all the great things that Tom Hicks has to offer. I did read negative reviews but decided not to concentrate on it. Well, all I can say, I strongly agree with negative reviews here. It’s unforgiving environment at the school, concentrated on PTA get together and Fundraising. Myself and my husband are both working parents, we try to volunteer at school as much as we can. You know, we have bills to pay and work to do. So now it finally got transpired to me that my child is being pushed aside by her teacher, counselor and the rest of the school staff. As us parents, don’t get involved too much with the school events. Academics don’t exists at the school. Kindergarten kids get to bring a behavior folder each day from school and get upset if the teacher left a note, like it’s not scary enough to be in the new environment and get used to it. So everything is based on money and negativity. If you are looking for a great school for your child, avoid it! It’s not worth of stress and disrespectful snobby people that are there.

My experience with Hicks has been amazing! Teachers are great and it’s a good community of parents and children. Everyone is kind and welcoming! My son is in Dual language and he is thriving here!
