Highland Village Elementary School

Our family has had the privilege of being a part of the HVE family for the last 8 years. The educators and administrators are truly the best. My children are receiving not only a top notch education, but the kind of character and grit it takes to be successful in all aspects of life.

Academics are important and HVE is top notch...I’m amazed at how much my child has learned and grown...but here’s the thing about HVE: teachers and admin are actually invested in the kids as people. My child is loved, cared for, understood and appreciated for who she is. The school is small making community easier to achieve and I was shocked our first year there when staff greeted my youngest (who doesn’t attend the school yet) by name. I’ve been SO impressed with how the (few) behavioral and (isolated) “bullying” issues are handled. We have friends who pay a ton of money to get these perks in private school and yet here it is right here for free.

We love HVE!! We have only had positive experiences here and love how small the school size is.

Great school. Two of my went to HVE and it is the best kept secret in LISD. Loving and supporting staff.
