The teachers have seemed to have given up. My daughter has come home many times upset because her fellow classmates would not behave and the teacher just stopped teaching halfway through the lesson and many have admitted they are looking for other schools to teach at. There are some amazing teachers and staff members but the students have worn them down and they are afraid of doing anything the prevent it.
Muy bueno como en todas las escuelas existen niños con diferentes formas de pensar
a lot fights, drama, and some of the teachers are harsh. I wouldn't recommend going to this school.
(Continued) not only would they try to yank her hair out cause they all accused her of having "weave", but they even went as far as taking a trash can full of trash and dumping it over my daughters head while she was inside a bathroom stall in the girls locker room changing. When this was brought to the administrations attention, the girls involved got a "talking to" in which they all denied what they did. No one was suspended or held accountable in any way. And then they went right back to threatening to jump her cause now she was a (you guessed it) SNITCH! There was even a fight in the cafeteria in front of one of the AP's. The children started the fight, their friends stood around them to serve as cover, the fight was finished, and they went on about their business. The AP never even noticed! I witnessed children hugging and kissing right in front of the main office. One of the teachers even joined the students in nick naming my daughter "white girl" My daughter is AA and Hispanic. Not white. But because she spoke popper English she was labeled and ridiculed. Again, no accountability at all ( to be continued!!)
