Furr High School

Horrible, HISD is the worst school district my kids have been enrolled in

this is a bad school i dont understand why the rating in the tests are great i have friends and they are always skipping school and how is it possible for them to be having grades like my other friend that goes to an all girls school where they work so hard and have homework everyday .they go off campus and teachers are okay with it ,you can find this kids on the street or in parks doing illegal things i just dont understand why they say this is such a great school terribly wrong .

My husband and myself graduated from this school as well as his sister and my four siblings. My son just started this school year there and he loves it. I too, see students walking away from campus right around 8:50 am toward the park. They have no shame, but they will years from now when they can't find a good job. Teachers there are awesome.

You always see kids walking away from campus at any given time of day! Kids are often seen walking off to Herman Brown Park, down towards Oates Rd. And lets not forget, right before dismissal time they start walking back to the area of the school, I've been seeing this for the last 20 years!
