Hunters Creek Elementary School

I would rate the school an 8 over all. They may need to provide the children with more study materials for home.

Awesome school. Love the principal, teachers & staff. FYI, my kids are african American and they had a great time here. They take time to listen. The teachers work hard and they care. I assume that comes from a hands on everything principal. Communication is excellent as well

Good at the moment. My only complain is the lack of options for the teachers to stop the bad behavior of some kids

I have not had a bad experience yet. Homework is on par with other schools and achieves a purpose of reviewing what was taught. Teachers have professional development opportunities all the time and many do trainings and conferences on their own time. Teachers genuinely care about the students' success. Leadership is strong and positive. The counselor teaches lessons in the classroom on character traits and has a weekly blurb in the school newsletter to inform parents of classroom lessons. Learning differences are taken seriously and processes are followed according to district and state policy. What's not to love? Parents and Community members are super supportive and volunteer all the time inside and outside of the classroom. Great school!
