Lanier is like a cruise ship. You can pretty much find anything going on there at any time and it is what you make of it. This is good prep for Bellaire or Lamar though Lanier doesn't have as many gun shootings as the high schools. I guess that's a positive these days.

Prepared both of my daughters extremely well for high school and beyond.

If I had to rate it, I’d rate it a 3.5 out of 10. If I were to come here to learn how to take notes, remember answers on a test, and get good grades and not actually learn the material then it’d be an absolute 10 but I’m more interested in learning. This school and also most of HISD doesn’t understand that there is a LARGE difference in those who are smart and people who score better.

This school is great school and my son and daughter are exciting getting in.
