Pleasantville Elementary School

I went to this school years ago and the staff back then was awesome. I don't know what has happened to the school since then. I have 3 grand kids that attend this school. First off the staff is rude starting with the office, and the cafeteria staff. One of the Pre-K teacher's speaks very a harsh to the kids. If its up to me my Grand kids will not return to this school.

This school year 2010-2011 totally disappointing. School need entire makeover starting with teaching staff and building being remodeled. Vanguard program would not recommend for your children to be competitive with others. Teachers very young and unprofessional. If you want to read up on them go to facebook and you will get general idea. This school need more math and science programs. I regret placing my child at this school.

In the past this school was excellent in all areas. But I'm sad to say the school has takened steps backwards instead of forward! The leadership and determination the school had left with the principle in 2010! Starting with the principle it's so obvious it's only about the paycheck. The warm and secure feeling u got when entering the school was not availble during the 2010-2011 school year.

I must give thus school five stars, because the staff at Pleasantville deserve five stars or better! I'm a patent, and I have a new respect for teachers... They work together to get the task accomplished. Thanks to the principle, and her entire staff!
