Rummel Creek Elementary School

An amazing school. It is a highly sought after school in an amazing neighborhood. The teachers are excellent and many live in the neighborhood. The school has high parent involvement.

Rummel Creek Elementary is an incredible school within an incredible community. As a parent, my children have been nurtured by the caring teachers and administrators-many who live in the RCE community themselves. They care about kids and want all children to be successful confident learners. The community is like a small town in a big city. Best investment I have ever made was to move here.

We are parents and community members. We would love to give a 5 star rating to our beloved school, but sadly we cannot. Rummel Creek has been one of the top schools in the west side of Houston for decades. It draws strong families to the community, the best teachers, & obviously outstanding parental involvement. The school is currently undergoing total rebuilding. It is an event the community & school should be anticipating with eager excitement. However, under the divisive leadership of the principal & SBISD school board, the school has lost the support of a strong majority of the community. Thus, we will only give a 1-star rating.

Great community school. Teachers truly care about the students and take the time to work with them and the parents.
