Shotwell is just like any other middle school. The schools role is to teach the children so they can succeed academically. It is our (the parents) role to teach our kids discipline. You can put a well behaved student in any school and they will succeed. The school does not make the student. If your child is not disciplined it doesn't matter if they go to Shotwell or to one of the most expensive private schools. The outcome will be the same. Lets not blame the teachers and principals, lets take a look at how we are raising our children. If you teach your child to be a leader they will be a leader anywhere they go.
