Hutto Elementary School

School board only cares about money in their pockets . They could care less about well being of children .

I have two sons who have been at Hutto Elementary since Pre-K. Ms. Graves, the preschool teacher, is the most loving teacher we have ever seen. The care she puts into the kids, her room and every other detail is fantastic. I felt like I was bringing my boys to see a loving family member every day. My oldest son is now in 3rd grade and the greatness has continued. I`m so proud to call HES our school.

Caring and intelligent staff and teachers. The special education, "Solid Roots," is a great program, and I love that they do social skills everyday. They also have a great sensory room. The only reason I don't give Hutto Elementary five stars is that their GT program just gives more challenging work, but is not really innovative or unique. However, the parental involvement and teacher motivation is great, and I think the school is continuing to improve and blossom!

This is the eighth year we've had a child attending this school. Our 2 children are at both ends of the spectrum (1 with special needs and 1 gifted & talented). Both children have had phenomenal, caring, nurturing teachers. Can't say enough good things about the teachers and staff!
