There were fights every week sometimes more, principles seemed to be more concerned about parents not finding out then trying to do something about it.

My daughter is entering 8th grade at CJH. She's had all positive experiences, despite being a minority (caucasian) at the school. We've had only two complaints. First, they don't issue books - she's become quite familiar with YouTube instructional videos to supplement in-class learning. And second, the racial divide at the school is extreme. Frequently she's dealing with taunts of "hey, white girl" in the hall. If nothing else, it's preparing her for real-life in a way she wouldn't normally see. I guess that has to happen when you're surrounded by people accustomed to solving problems with fists instead of words. Her conflict management skills are off the charts now and she's more determined than ever to do well in school and get as far away from small-minded individuals who see only skin color and not substance.

It is amazing how some of the staff at this school are so rude especially the nurse. Hope your child never has to go see her!! She seems like she hates her job so much!! Not only that my son has very bad asthma and misses quite a bit of school from it. I call and report his absent and send a dr note to cover this and I have been reported over and over again to Katy ISD Police Department. The top people at this school only care about the money they can get from kids coming to school. they dont care the reason a child maybe out sick. I have had nothing but issues at this school and can't wait till my son is done going here!!!

it was perfect for the first couple of months then later it went downhill all ways going to the pass room and stuff I hade mixed feelings
