Unfortunately my experience with this school has not been a very good one. The staff is not very helpful at all... EVER! They are also very rude and have ugly attitudes. They are constantly losing important paper work! They can somehow contact your when you owe two dollars but somehow “can’t get the number right” when your child has a fever of 104.5. Ever since moving from goose creek ISD my daughter no longer enjoys going to school. I don’t feel like she is learning or advancing as much as she was when she was in GCISD.

My son is in the ppcd class with Mrs brown & Mrs Maguire, they are very nice, helpful, & patient teachers. Mrs brown has a son of her own with special needs so it's great to know that she can understand me & My concerns on a deeper level. The staff seems nice & helpful, but I can honestly say Mrs brown & Mrs Maguire are the best special needs teachers a parent could ask for. My son loves coming to school & has improved so much since the beggining of the school year.

I have two boys in their special needs program (s). We have gotten to know much of the faculty and leadership at Emery very well and feel very confident that our children's best educational interests are in excellent hands; and hearts.

I do not agree with the statement below I live in this area and many of the families are doing well and not in need as stated. This school was better when it first opened three years ago. There are many families in this area so the school population is very large. My only complaint is the bullying and lack of teacher supervision. Although their heart is in the right place with the students talk to your child because most of the bullying is not being report. I personally took my child out of this school and placed him a better structured environment. Between the bad behavior of the students and the lack of communication from the teachers I had enough. Also the PTO is unorganized no one has taken control of parent involvement therefore not that many events.
