I love this school and wish I didn't have to move away from it. The faculty there is very diverse and the students were very welcoming to me when I moved there at the beginning of seventh grade. Overall just a great school.

I have complained about my child's teacher numerous times. Guidance counselors agree that there are problems with the teacher, but nothing is being done. TOTAL lack of support. Moving is our only option - and we are doing so the second this school year is over. I would not recommend this school to anyone, as their lack of caring shows. Also, I wouldn't want to be an 'academic' student in that school. The teachers complain about their non-AP students. The academic students are loud, uneducated, and not receiving the help they need because as much as the teachers don't care about their AP kids they REALLY don't care about the academic ones. Want your kid to be able to walk around with his pants down to his knees and underwear showing? Not school code, but prevalent here. The school's a mess. No spelling in the curriculum, cell phones everywhere so the kids don't have to learn to spell or do math. What a great way to prepare for college. Thank god my child is smarter than most of her AP peers and will do very well in her new school next year. If you don't have a VERY intelligent child, (AP or G/T) don't send them here because with no support they will fail.

I love morton ranch junior high it's like a second home to me.I came to this school as a shy kid who didn't really talk to anyone or have good grades and didn't really care if he got in trouble but I grew out of it and it was because of the teachers. The teachers at this school are caring, funny, and respectful.Sure it isn't the best school in the district but what school doesn't have problems.morton ranch is a school with kids that don't understand certain things but the cool thing is that there are teachers there always by their side helping them every step of the way and that's why I rate this school five stars.
