This school is average at best. We had to move from Memorial Middle School in Spring Branch to West Memorial Jr High in Katy because of Hurricane Harvey, and it's been a severe drop in education. They have very little STEM options, no computer coding, no alternate language electives, no pre-athletics in 6th grade. Really, it's the Middle School version of a Jr College, it's just going to give you the bare basics. If you are looking for a place to challenge a highly intelligent student, I'd look elsewhere.

Teachers are very good! Great area for leaving, looks safe! Staff are very nice! Happy to send my kids there ...

I've had two children attend this school and have nothing but positive things to say about it. Whenever there was a problem, the administration took the necessary steps to investigate and resolve each of them. They educate and protect their students and support their staff as well. I would highly recommend this school...not because of what I've heard, but because of what I've experienced.

SCHOOL IS FULL OF EVIL TEACHERS. WHAT KIND OF AN ASSIGNMENT IS THAT? WHAT YOUR BELIEFS ARE. you don't do that. You especially don't do that to a 12 year old. They are still figuring out who they are and what they stand for. You don't do that. Ever. That is so wrong. Such an invasive tactic used by to teacher to segregate the believers and non believers. Pathetic attempt to brainwash these students and steer them away from accredited educational lessons approved by the school district roster. You don't get to be the thought police to small preteens and give them an assignment that blatantly sets them up to fail.
