College Street Elementary School

Not suitable for my child, enrichment is not priority in this school or the town of Lindale. It’s very cliquish and if you or your children are not locals you will be treated as they say “NFL” (not from Lindale) teachers and students alike have used this phrase verbally in and out of school

Kids thrive in a reward-centered environment. Award ceremonies, trophies, etc are great motivators. I've yet to see this here. Also, it makes me nervous that the high school disciplinary alternative program is literally attached to this school. I realize these kids are not inherently bad and have just made bad choices, but it makes me nervous in this day and age nonetheless.

Both teachers and all school staff have been wonderful and exceeded my expectations of a public school. They are more academically advanced than other surrounding school districts, although this does mean homework and that students need to be focused. Thank you LISD!!

Slow pace school and kids who are rude to parents i would not recommend this school to anyone
