Uncaring/ prejudiced teachers, & principal, lots of bullying that nobody does anything about, unsafe learning environment for 6th graders as all classes are held in portables due to being over crowded. An easy solution to overcrowding...BUILD A SCHOOL IN KINGSLAND so our children do not have to suffer an unsafe hour long bus ride every day, often in poor weather conditions and prejudice. This school is NOT equipped to deal with the amount of children and it is felt all around on every level.

If you have a Special Ed. student make sure you have several copies of your child's current IEP when attending the ARD and make sure they don't re-write it for you.

The teachers are great, the principal is a jerk and if you are not a good old boy or if he doesn't recognize you as someone "worthy of knowing" then he will treat you like dirt on his shoe. Kind of hard to appreciate your kids school when the head of the school treats you like a peon. The sad part is that he treats my kid the same way.

Extremely poor communication between teachers and parents. The school does not recognize golf as a sport. If your kid wants to play golf, good luck. There is no coach. The high school coach agreed to "help out" but he doesn't coach. He missed the first tournament, we didn't know when the tournaments where, where, what time, etc. The LISD website for the middle school is rarely updated. The teachers are nice and knowledgeable. It's obvious they're overwhelmed with the number of students and should make as much as a CEO of a large corporation. I appreciate the teachers and bless you all for being teachers.
