This school has an amazing approach to cultivating leaders and promoting a positive and collaborative school community. We have two students in this character-building environment, and I only wish our older children could have had the opportunity sooner to reap the investment these educators pour into these kiddos. We love Nancy Neal ES!

Our daughter is joining in the 3rd year now. We love Nancy Neal with it's awesome staff and the teachers shown love for their job and students. This is where children love to go to school and learn without even noticing. This is how you teach at school, for the future and for the upcoming new generation... with love, relationship, respect and responsibility. Thank you Nancy Neal.

Great teachers! The teachers at Neal take pride in what they do. They support the kids and help them be the best they can.

If your parent is a teacher or staff member of Neal, you've got it made! You will automatically make it into all their little clubs and receive special treatment. We have been here two years now and my oldest noticed this trend right away! And now in our second year the trend continues :( We originally thought Neal was a great school, but now not as convinced. So many little clicks that go on, especially within the PTA. Neal offers fun after school clubs but the catch is you have to be related to someone to make it in. They get the children's hopes up only to crush them and make them feel as if they aren't smart enough or good enough. No one is allowed to talk the first 10-15 min of lunch, including visiting patents! If your child gets in trouble they are subjected to lonely lunch and have to sit and eat all alone in front of everyone! It seems like very cruel punishment for elementary age children. The school often has a somber military feel, more so this year than last. Noone is allowed to talk or have fun unless it's recess. I understand the need to teach children respect, rules, and how to be quiet and listen but the new rules of this school takes it over board. We have had the same principal both years but the AP has already changed. I am unimpressed with the changes made this year and am liking Neal less and less. Academically the school is fine, my children are smart so they would thrive anywhere, I have no complaints on that. As far as safety goes, I feel 100% my children are safe. You must check in, get a badge and go thru a locked door to get into the main area of the school. They do offer fun activities on special nights (math night, science night, etc), but the parking is atrocious, never anywhere to park. I hope these are just growing pains for a once small but now rapidly growing school, and things can fix themselves or necessary changes will be made to make Neal a top rated school once again.
