Mckinney Boyd High School

I have had two children graduate from Boyd and a Sophomore presently. I have told my husband that if for any reason my youngest was rezoned to another high school before he got into Boyd I would go work for the district just to make sure he went there. I love all the teachers, administration and the sport programs, especially the soccer. The Officers on campus personally know the students and has a positive attitude and respect. I can not say enough about this school. Go Broncos!

My oldest daughter graduated in 2016 and now my son is going to school there. I absolutely LOVE Boyd and all it has to offer. Dr. Pierson has done a fabulous job here.

There is bullying. There are drugs. They are not doing enough. I've seen it first hand. The younger and smaller kids are attacked and videos put on social media. You do have to worry about your kids all the time. A pretty school doesn't mean there is not ugliness inside. Not all students are bad, not all of the teachers are bad, but many there are all about image and not the well being of kids.
