Mooneyham Elementary School

I feel we have had a good experience.

Leadership is not approachable. They make you feel as though you are an inconvenience, especially if your child has special needs. Even with a doctor's diagnosis, they fought us on our request for special education testing. I have talked with former teachers of this school, ones who have since transferred to other schools in the district because they were not fond of the principal. Although our child has had some decent teachers, her kindergarten teacher was horrible. She barely ever smiled and seemed to hate her job. My child told us she yelled a lot. Overall, I have been greatly disappointed in this school.

The school is average.All it seems they care is bout rising money. No recognition or reward for the kids who is working hard.No diploma for kinder!Where is the taxes we paying?Our kids deserve better.

The teachers in the classroom are great, don't depend on any help from any other groups or admins in the school For help on any special issues. It's actually pretty disappointing.
