I love MIS! They have a heart for all students, and celebrate their achievements daily! It is a great place to grow as a teacher and a student!
Great family feel! Teachers seem happy and willing to try new things. The community is super involved and I just love that they host Grandparents Day and Veterans Day community events.
We moved to Montgomery this summer from out of state, where my kids went to excellent schools. I am very disappointed in MIS, none of the kids in my childs class reads on level, and they seem to be behind in every other subject. I feel the school is not educating them enough, they make it easy on them just so they can pass. They are doing the students a real disservice, they baby them, and they'll never make it in the real world when they get out. Some of the teachers can't handle the students who are constantly misbehaving, so there is not much learning going on. This school is lacking in every area.
