Needville Elementary School

I love this school and the way they discipline. Some parents might not agree but just compare the ratings. They're there for a reason!

Awful. After having high hopes for moving to a small town it was nothing but disappointments. The teachers and support staff do not receive the right training. Nobody holds teachers accountable if they dont follow common let one learning plans etc. If your children go here keep a CLOSE eye on them. Good luck

My daughter loves Needville Elementary and she is in 3rd grade and been there since Kindergarten. The school does follow strict old school small town values and that's why I wanted her there because in my opinion that's how all children should be raised. We are not originally from Needville but from just up the road and yes the staff and parents (mostly mothers) at Needville Elementary are cliquish but once you become involved in other stuff in the community and meet people that is not an issue. If you don't want your child educated with discipline then the school is not for you. I think a lot of people's negative experiences comes from individual teachers a child may have had and there are a lot of new young teachers coming in now with new ways of teaching which helps mix it up a little.

If you believe your five year old needs to go to a military school then this school might be an option for you. I found this school was the absolute worst thing that I could have done to my son. He was a very sweet, playful and quite boy. Then we moved and sent him to kindergarten at needville elementary. He was so scared he would forget something he needed and get yelled at in school. All the faculty is just plan mean. My son cried all the time. This school would have to be the capital for bullying tought by the parents and teachers in this town. It is true if you are not one of them you will not be treated well at all.
