New Waverly Elementary School

New Waverly Elementary is truly a place of learning. The school is new and designed with flexible spaces and a bright cheery atmosphere. The teachers use current and emerging technologies in all classrooms for both group and individual learning. Teachers are friendly and genuinely interested in the well-being of the children and parents. The special education teams are excellent and instill a love of learning that translates back into the classroom and at home. The overall size of the school means smaller class sizes and less chance of a child slipping through the cracks. Our family couldn't ask for a better school!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this school!!! This was my daughter's first year and between the principal, faculty and parent volunteers, they have made this a year to remember. They welcome parent volunteers in school activities and in the classrooms which allows the children to get more out of thier daily schedule. The entire school helps each other and gives the desire to learn to all the students. During TAKS testing, the entire school, faculty and students, get together every morning to CHEER ON the third graders to boost thier confidence...which apparently works because they have gotten exemplary scores at least the past two years!! Definately recommend New Waverly Elem. to all parents!!!
