We're generally happy with how things are going. The new (2018) no homework policy keeps the kids happier though we worry about establishing a good (home)work ethic without it. The rezoning reduced crowding but also dropped the school out of Title I eligibility so some programs to help kids are operating with reduced budgets/availability. The teachers we work with are good at their jobs. The kids are getting a good education. The school is clean and safe.
Overall we have been fairly pleased with this school, my kids are happy here and enjoy going to school everyday! I would like to see teachers communicate more with us parents, however, either by email or through Class Dojo app. Anxious to see Staar results for this year and averages!
We moved here from Tarkington ISD and LOVE this school. Everyone is nice the teachers take time with the students and the class size is small. Highly recommend!
OK school, nothing special. Teachers are OK. We have no real complaints, except for the bus system which is the worst in the history of the world...
