My son had the worse time at this school. Not only emotionally but physically; at one time coming home with bruising. This school’s true integrity falsely hides behind test scores and a “blue ribbon” award not reflecting their true thought on diversity. If your child is anything but the majority race, please do not send them to this school! Your child’s safety will be at risk.

Great! I loved going to canyon creek as a student and making lots of friends who even though we go to different schools, I still hangout out with! Being learning different with dyslexia and ADHD, the program here helped me accept who I am and learn to work with my challenge! I am very glad I went to this school!

My husband went to elementary school at Canyon Creek Elem and insisted on moving here from out of state when we had children. He described a supportive community of friends and neighbors and an exceptional school, and I can say it has exceeded all of the already high expectations I had. CCE is not only a great place to grow academically, it is a true home full of loving and nurturing teachers and staff, many of whom live in the neighborhood themselves. There are so many aspects of the school and neighborhood you cannot measure or find in a test score - it is a wonderful place to call home.

My husband talks about our school and says "It's just like Mayberry." We might be dating ourselves with that comment as some reading are thinking, "Where's that?" If you remember your TV Land trivia, Mayberry is the town where everyone is friendly, the community is a force, where money and materials don't seem to matter much. That is our school. Our teachers are gifted, love their jobs, and are, hopefully, well cared for. The PTA presence is strong and supported by the school and district, and it seems to get stronger each day. What I have found as a mom of four (which means I am involved in lots of athletics/organizations/places where I interact with lots of parents), is that everyone here pretty much has the same mission: Raise up respectful, kind, loving, happy kids in addition to providing them with a quality public education. Parents don't care what brand of jeans you're wearing, and there isn't a mom here who has a spray tan or drives an H2 that blocks the stroller ramp. If you come to our community, you are going to be welcomed and loved. We want you here. Our kids love it here--so much so that when they have kids, they move back here to raise their kids.
