Bluebonnet Elementary School

My son has been going here since pre-k and is now in second grade. He absolutely loves it here. All the teachers we've had, so far, are willing to go above & beyond. I love the staff also because, they're very friendly and know you by your name and make you feel welcomed.

This school review is mixed, the reason being it provides different results for different students.It is at best a good school for weak students, but a terrible school for very bright high achieving students.Another reason this rates poorly is the quality of the fundamental education, core subjects like Mathematics require a solid foundation. This is lacking, therefore students go without understanding the core of how to solve problems which is used in future grades and in life in general.I will upload hundreds and hundreds of blank pages from their text books at year end.This is because during the year the teachers failed to complete their syllabi on time and hurried their instruction at the end.How in the world will students learn then?Lastly as I said before , this school helps weak and average students get enough to progress, weighing down on high achievers forcefully rendering them also in the average bucket.After all these are the days of 'everyone is a winner' policy. But in a thriving competitive environment which these kids will definitely encounter in their future this experience will leave them gasping for air and utterly incapable of competing.

My family recently moved into Bluebonnet territory as well. This school has made a complete turn around and continues to soar thanks to wonderful teachers and administration. If you are considering moving into Bluebonnet's zone, do not hesitate. Remember to recognize the date of negative reviews, and focus on the current success of the school.
