I loved the Royse city elementary schools but they don’t care about parent concerns or students once they reach middle school and up.

5stars! I was surprised to see so few reviews on the HS and felt obligated to share our experience. We moved to Fate/ RCISD when my daughter was in 8th grade. She’s a sophomore now and will be graduating high school class of 22’ with an associates degree. She has really enjoyed cheering on Friday nights (along with the rest of the town) and exploring a lot of new academic and social clubs. She has enjoyed all of her teachers and we are both so thankful for the time the counselors dedicate to her for anything she needs but mainly to make sure she is optimizing her schedule to reach her grad goals while utilizing as many discounted college classes and resources as possible. Between her academic load and many extracurricular responsibilities her schedule during and after school can be hectic but the counselors never hesitate to spend time with her and rearrange when necessary to keep it all manageable. It means a lot to us that we have people on the “inside” that care as much about her success as we do! Lord knows it takes a village!

I hate that we moved here and are stuck in this school system. My child deserves better treatment. I wish I could have found a home in Caddo Mills. Their schools have much happier, healthier students and are rated higher

Slow down! These kids deal with so much on a daily basis they get bullied enough from their classmates they don’t need it from their teachers as well
