Seagoville North Elementary School

Poor rating! This school was horrible for my kids. They would feed them tamales! MY KIDS DO NOT EAT TAMALES! They didn’t give them other good options! They catered to Hispanic kids.

I have always had a positive experience with both front office staff and teachers at this school. I will agree with another comment below: Some parents are very difficult to deal with. I've seen it first hand.

Nobody wants to talk about the real problem at this school: the PARENTS. Their kids act like farm animals and when you tell them, they either make excuses or yell at you. The new admin actually had the kids under better control, but I guess it's hard to pick your kids up from detention when you have to run a crystal meth business and bail your boyfriend out of jail the same day. So the parents complained the school was too strict and it went right back down the toilet again. The way these kids treat their teachers would make you sick to your stomach. Keep blaming the teachers if it makes you feel good.

There have been a lot of improvements since the new principal, Mrs. Martinez has arrived. This school is improving and has a lot of potential to be a great school. Parents should help and get involved more and quit complaining if you don't want to help make it better for our children.
