Our experience at this school was awful. I must agree with what everyone else has said on here as to their experience. This school flows with people who are rude, snobby, and have their own personal political agendas. The only school that I can say is truly a great school with a great principle and teachers in this District is Pinewoods Elementary. All the others are too busy trying to please the 'political powers that be' in order to keep their jobs. If you want a school district that cares about the students, do yourself a favor and keep looking for Splendora ISD is not it.

As a valedictorian of this high school a few years ago, I'll agree with the 1 star rating of the previous review. Although some students here rate the school well and describe it as "excellent," the fact that most of the reviews have major spelling errors reflects the poor education of the school. I agree that many of the students there were very racist, rude, and snobby. Wouldn't have described it that way myself (except for racist), but the description resonates with what I experienced there. I never realized how racist the place was until I left for college 1500 miles away and came back to find swastikas on the pavement in my neighborhood - indeed, students in Splendora will have no idea that racism still exists in the 21st century, unless they face overt racism themselves. I never realized how mean the students were until I did a high school study abroad program and discovered how nice people in study abroad programs are. Most of my graduating class cheated their way through, and I still beat their grades. Most teachers were apathetic about cheating (it happened in front of them every day) and lacking in any sense of academic rigour or depth. School Motto: "Ignorance is bliss."
