Kleb was once an outstanding middle school. But under the new principle and his administration, everything has changed and not for the better. I think the decline in test scores prove that. There is a lack of common sense at this school. Until the principle and his underlings are replaced, I would not send my dog there let alone my child.

We have been very happy with my son's 6th grade year. The Path program is awesome!

I love Kleb Intermediate for my children! It is a well run school with great staff and students. My boys truly enjoy going to school here and as a parent that helps me rest easy. The new principal has done some neat things with the school as well. I would definitely recommend Kleb to anyone looking to move in the area.

I have found this year my 6th grader has had many first to second year teachers who try to make up their own rules and not follow protocol. When questioned why they did what they did, they had no justification so we had to go to the admin. It was not until the admin got involved that the problems were fixed. Example: teacher having a due date in one six weeks yet not putting the grade in the grade book until the next six weeks or trying to say my child waited 3 days to turn in an assignment thus having points deducted, when the child turned it in early and the teacher lost it. The math teacher told my student they should not need a tutor, that she was the teacher, and there was zero excuse why they should not learn from her. She has been nothing but unsupportive in helping my child succeed when this year 6th grade Math TEKS are 53% brand new to the grade level. She blames my child for not understanding. Too many times the teachers have not been helpful and admin had to get involved. Teachers should communicate with the parents so admin does not have to be contacted.
