Mittelstadt elementary is a wonderful and family orientated school. My son is autistic and in developmental. He has made tremendous progress. He is now in 4th grade and is learning and growing tremendously. The school understands that socialization is very important and just as much as academic when discussing children with Autism. I have stayed zoned to Mittelstadt just for my son's schooling. The office staff and all teachers, especially developmental, are extraordinary.

Disgusting! as a graduate of KISD and didn't have the best years either, I had hoped being in a better part of the large district would make a difference and it didn't. Over all this school has 2 classes either you have exuberant amounts of money to funnel into the sports program or you are the ones on government programs and continuing the no child left behind mess! We left years ago and I still have a sour taste in my mouth. We will stick with out private school that puts this district's teachers and curriculum to shame!

My son has attended Middlestadt since first grade. Most of the teachers he has had have been pretty decent the problem is the principal is so out of touch with reality the world is passing this school by at lightning speed while they are stuck in some sort of time warp. My son rarely learns anything new or is challenged. He is put in classes with severely challenged people where most of the teachers time is spent "helping" them cope instead of learn. I have brought to the principal and teachers attention multiple times that kids are capable of much more and no one seems to care or listen. I attended the Christmas "like" sing a long last night. It was an absolute joke and way beneath most kid's levels. It was something 3 or 4 year olds would do. Not 9. Please get with the program! Our kids deserve better!

My Daughter loves her school, but the best of all is the way she talks abour her teaches Mrs. Cooper, about how encourafing she is with her students, she is a loving and caring teacher, i am vet satisfied with the teacher, friends and school.
