We moved from another state with great schools. I have to say my kids love their new school !! One thing I observe and as I keep hearing from other parents is that It bothers us and and don't agree that the kids walk with their hands Behind their back!!! I've never seen this before, it's like if they are in jail or some sort of. If they would just instruct the kids to keep their hands to themselves , It would work . think this hands on their back wouldn't be necessary and it's ridiculous , I think parents should look more into it if you don't agree. I was told by other parent that this was not implemented before.

This is truly an amazing school. My son is in kindergarten he completes two reading books each week. His teacher is just first class, we walk the halls and the teachers call him by name. I call the school my little Ivy League school. My child attended two private schools in the area for preschool (Cornerstone Christian Academy and the Honor Roll School - Missouri City campus). The Honor Roll School gave him a good foundation, however the teacher at Cornerstone was just horrible. I must say Austin Parkway Elementary is just a step ahead of the others, really well trained, caring, loving teachers. It is just an amazing elementary school.

This is by far the best school my kids have ever attended. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to help your student succeed. My daughter went there for kindergarten and first grade and my son went there for K- 2. We had to move to another state a little over a year ago and we have been so disappointed at the school they are currently in because it doesn't even compare to APE. My kids are constantly talking about how much they miss Austin Parkway and everyone there from the music and art teachers to the librarian to the PE teacher, to their actual homeroom teachers. They miss everyone there. Oh , and by the way, the teachers actually care about the students and the counselor knows the kids by name and this is by far the best school my kids have ever attended. Oh, how we miss APE!!!!
