If you have custody issues, do not expect this school to follow the law, including restraining orders, or signed documents from a judge. The front office staff is extremely and absolutely some of the most disrespectful, trashiest and ignorant women I've had the displeasure to meet. This school is horrible for children and especially for mothers. Heed my advice and send your children elsewhere. The principal, Alena McClanahan needs to find work in another profession. She completely disregards the law.

This is one of the worst experiences we have had at any school. We have had small issues from time to time with schools but we were always able to work with the administration and come to a reasonable solution. With this school there was no reasonable solution. They did not want to extend the classroom interventions that my son needed and instead extended those resources to other students. Now we are having to take our son to an outside source at a cost of $6K to get him back to where he should have been during the school year.

We have been at LVE for the past 3 years. It is a great school with encouraging teachers and staff. Please support our PTA through even the smallest acts of volunteerism to help continue this positive environment and offer even greater opportunities for our children to experience.

I absolutely love the school and the staff working there. They have always been so kind to my daughter and have helped her through some tough times. We will miss it when we move.
