Great staff and Leadership is what makes this school exceptional

I really enjoy WSE, from the every day reports from my girls to my visits at the school. The staff is great and the teachers are so special! They are kind and engaging. Truly a great group of people doing great things for our kids.

This is an excellent school. My daughter quickly made new friends after starting school here. Teachers are very caring.

There are teachers (and guidance counselors) who really care.... But they are the exception. There are a lot of teachers who were just going through the motions. Some of the good ones left this past year (choir teacher, Mrs.Falleroni) and the building is very dark, dated, and frankly unsafe. Thank goodness they got rid of the trailers on the side. This school left a lot to be desired. They teach to the test. There's clear favoritism and cronyism (the children of faculty consistently get to be in classes together with their favorite teachers). With the departure of Mrs. fridge(principal) and Mrs thomas, one can only hope that newer processes and procedures will get this school back to what it once was.
