We bought our home in creekside thinking our child would be going to creekside forest elementary and after it was time to register my child and we were told we were going to timber creek I was uneasy but it was still a 9/10 school so I figured that’s ok it still has to be good. Their curriculum is confusing and horrible.Teacher communication is horrible. My child has dealt with bullying The principal is a sad example of what represents that school. Expect to be treated rudely and blown off with any concern you have.We are debating on moving because we dislike the school so much.

We have been very happy with Timber Creek Elementary. My son started school in the middle of the year and the teachers were very accommodating and made it extremely easy for him to transition. He loved his old school, but after several months I'd say he loves Timber Creek even more. The academic standard is very high and I believe they do a good job managing work between school and home.

Timber Creek Elememtary has been a really great experience. I have two daughters there, and they have had great experiences and fantastic teachers. This year there is a new principal and she is really great. Other comments about lack of parental involvement and PTO and the school not striving for excellence are frankly wrong. Those are likely parents that never went to all the school activities and their kids didn't participate in all the extracurricular activities offered. My kids have been challenged academically, have participated in so many excellent activities, and I feel are genuinely cared about at the school. If you're considering the school, it's a great choice.

TCES is just fine. I don't understand the others who are unhappy with their experience. My daughter just finished 6th, was in the school for 2 years, and I am very happy with the experience. There are tons of before/after school activities. My daughter was in the advanced classes, and the teachers did fine and challenged my girl. I could not have asked for more. BTW, at the 6th grade step up graduation, there were kids who didn't seem to be involved in anything (no mention of being in any clubs....and there are tons). Maybe the negative comments are coming from their parents. I would recommend you do your own research on academics and clubs, and make your own decision. Good luck.
