My granddaughter had a great first year here as a kindergartener. They taught the class fractions already, at such a young age. I am very impressed.

Amazing! My two students have made incredible progress, their teachers work to meet their learning needs & the principal is child centered, always looking for ways to motivate the students & provide them with exceptional learning opportunities.

We moved to this district for this school. The school is diverse and has incredible teachers! The new principal, Mr. Stein, has made the biggest and best impression on parents, kids and probably the teachers, too. I am so proud that my kids are students at Greenwood. The school spirit is huge and the community involvement is impressive. I wish we could make it to even half of the offered activities!

Greenwood has an awesome principal! She's all that a principal should be and more. However, sometimes teachers feel the need to take a personal approach when dealing with their students as opposed to a professional approach. Make sure you communicate with your child or children daily. .You should know everything that goes while at school. Sit them down and question them. Ask specific questions about their entire day and most of all ask them how their teacher treated them! Children are very forgiving. Often they leave out very important factors that involve poor choices of school teachers and faculty. As parents we must get involved and stay involved. A teacher chose to force my son to walk 6 laps and gave him silent lunch all because he ran with a few other students towards his school bus one afternoon. Something all kids have done at some point or another. She also fabricated a story stating my child failed to turn in homework on numerous occasions.. Not true! Interim didn't reflect any issues with classwork or homework at all!! Not to mention I look at his homework EVERY EVENING! I called and questioned the teacher referencing the allegations. She admitted to them then hung up in my face! I could add more but Ill leave things as is! I will say that I have removed my child from the originating class for the 2015-2016 school year and he has now been placed in a much more suitable environment.
