Kettle Moraine Middle School

Lunch program is expensive and nasty, hallways are always packed, i've gotten bad grades for a while here, extra help programs suck, and punishment system is pointless.

KM requires more from their students than most public schools. Yes, it's harder for students to get good grades but they end up with a superior education, and are fully prepared to attend an excellent college or university. My children have been able to take college level courses, that count for their degree, by their senior year.

This school is terrible!! BEWARE- DO NOT SEND YOUR STUDENT HERE!!! My daughter attended this school and all the blue ribbon means is that they care more about politics than the kids they are supposed to be teaching. My daughters state scores have consistantly gone down each year here. She came to this school as a straight A honor student and now struggles to get Bs because the teachers REFUSE to help students. There are very few exceptions. They dont understand what a salary is and can not work 1 minute later than their contract reads. This school makes me sick!!! We are looking at private schools or Waukesha public schools next year.

I ABSOLUTELY HATED THIS SCHOOL! as one of the students that went there, i was picked on and bullied for being, tall, strong, and liking to learn! and the teachers and principle did NOTHING! If you are a new student, and excel in math, they will not excel you due to the fact that they have no records at that school. The teacher's are terrible, The lunch program is greasy, fat, and expensive, and the hallways and classrooms are over crowded. the buses are routed horribly (i had to get up at 5:00 to get the buss at 6:00, to get to school at 7:15 and i live about 8 miles away from the school!) This is the most poorly run school I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). i now go to University Lake School and i love it there.
