I’ve had 3 children go to this school and they loved it.
Prairie View offers great academic instruction and focuses on creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Horrible administration and horrible place for kids with special needs! The principal is non compliant with Dr. recommendations, the special education director doesn't care about the kids and the superintendent does absolutely nothing to resolve any issues with his staff. Parents are not welcome at the school. I'm not even allowed to walk my child with special needs to his classroom without a one week advanced notice with approval! This is a public school that wants the parents to donate this and that and volunteer for everything but they don't want you in the school. I never had a problem with this (plenty of problems with other things) in my 12 years of having kids in this district until the new principal came in this year. This school loves to restrain kids and put them in seclusion rooms for prolonged periods of time without a single phone call to inform the parents. Stay away from this school! Especially if you have a disabled child!
