Mahone Middle School

Mahone was a great school, until Mckinley Middle School shut down and their kids transferred over to Mahone. Since then, Mahone has been getting worse as the months go by... I am a student that is in 7th grade, and is transferring. Mahone was a great school in 6th grade, but once the school year started over, and I was in 7th grade, the school started to be horrible. This school does not know how to discipline students, or how to take actions. They will refuse to suspend someone unless they did something very bad, and they half the time don't enforce the rules... I am very disappointed to call myself a Mahone Mustang... or a "Mahoney Pony". This was from a student.

This school is a very good school. They have alot of resources. They offer some programs that alot of school districts can't afford to offer anymore like band. I love the way the school is set up per grade and the same counselor stays with your child til they graduate 8th grade, so I don't have to keep explaining myself every year about my son's ADHD. The counselor can just inform the teachers every new school year. This is an awesome school!
