Lake Mills Elementary School

Lake Mills Elementary is an excellent school. They are very responsive to the parents. It has a very nurturant atmosphere for the kids not to mention a brand new fabulous facility. It should be rated 9 or 10. What is with the 4?

Lake Mills is a great community and the new elementary school is a great addition. It was much needed and they built it right. They have won green awards for the environmentally friendly choices they made. I like the "neighborhood" feel of the classrooms by grade.The principal at LMES is amazing- I am constantly impressed when I see her in the community addressing not just a few but all students she sees by name. It makes me happy that she cares enough about her students to learn who they are and things about them. She doesn't just know my son's name but takes time when we see her to ask him about other things she remembers he likes to do! The only downfall I see is separating 5th grade into the middle school. I'm not a big fan of that.
