Percentage rating for high school graduates are high. Counselors and teachers care about their students.

Accountability is the standard that we as adults are held to, Accountability for bad behavior is what is missing within ALL of Racine Unified Schools. It is the single biggest reason RUSD scores so low when compared state wide with other districts, 5th from the bottom of 400 + districts.......ok maybe 7th......sorry.....The point is that the RUSD board has their heads buried in the sand and the parents of the students involved want to blame everyone other than their kid or themselves.........and Hence the kids learn from the top that there is no Accountability.

The new principal Mr.Eben has inspired changes in the overall culture of the school. It's no longer run as a prison. The staff and students are responding. There is only so much though that staff and teachers can do when students come ill prepared from junior high. If your kid is on the right path they will get a good (not great) education. If you want great you'll have to move out to areas such as Muskego, East Troy ETC. But if you must go public and in Racine... Case HS is the preferred choice. Until Eben leaves...then it could all go back to poorly run. Amazing what one leader can do with a staff when given the opportunity.

The quality of teaching at Case is EXCELLENT. We moved here from out of state last year where we spent several years in a top notch school district....the teachers compare favorably. The issue and challenge is the enviornment in which they must teach. The teachers challenge there is that they must teach an econiomically diverse group of teens. Some parents are involved, some are not and that certianly affects the quality of education the child receives. I would also wish that the discipline be more strict and immediate. There is too much tolerance of disrespectful behaviour because the rules allow for it.
