Really incredible. I’m a bit of an aggressive parent if I feel I need to intervene for my kids. There have been no confrontations and in fact any question or feedback I have been given has been addressed. The real feedback comes from my daughter, who used to cry about going to school and was failing her academics. Since coming to Stoughton, her grades are excellent, she has wonderful friends, is involved in many extra curricular activities and is HAPPY. It is 2019 as I write this, and I expect our District to keep making forward progress!

I have 7 kids that range from 18 to 5. I have had my kids in many different school district and had my complaints and understand that no school is perfect. Stoughton schools is the worse by far. It took three weeks to enroll my oldest son because they offer no help. There policy of only apply online is frustrating because the system did not work for me. Instead of getting help I got rudeness like it was my fault. Not my problem I followed the directions and never received an email. I was than told after I filled out paper work the school would call me to finish enrolling him and waited 3 school days and heard nothing. I called and they told me he was to start two days ago. They again treated me like it was my fault because the main office told me that the school would call. Very rude people. I was also told by office he would take bus. When I finally contacted the school I learned it was only 4 blocks from my house. Why would the office people tell me to set up a bus for him to just be told by school he would not be able to take bus because he lives to close. Well first it would be nice to let parents know where the school is and not be so rude and disrespectful like I am wasting there time enrolling my son. They act like its not there job. Now I am not sure if they have a personal issue with me or because my son is mixed as I have had race issues at schools. Yes i had a huge racism problem the state had to investigate. Its starting to look like this will be another case. I will know how racist they are in the next week as one of my new tenants is black and she will be enrolling her kids at Stoughton. I wait to hear about her experience and recommend if anyone has issues to speak up. This will not get fixed and parents deserve to know what is going on and not be looked down on, be disrespectful and rude because we dont know how your school system works. Maybe if you did your jobs and where polite and helped new students and parents. Overall they are rude and cold. I can't find phone number for the office of the school my son is attending only main office or principal.
