My daughter goes to Richmond and likes the teachers and students there. The school puts a lot of efforts to straighten the communications and interactions with parents, so that I am kept updated with what's going on in her class and the school. The school uses different tools to enrich students' academic, social and emotional experience at school as well as home. The teachers provides students and parent resources to help each individual to be successful. Per the School Report Card for 2017, Richmond received highest Overall score, highest Student Achievement score and highest closing gaps score in 5 years. It is a great school!

The teachers have all been very kind and helpful. The principal is wonderful. The school highly encourages parents to get involved and they offer many opportunities to do this. It's a great way to get to know the teachers and administrative staff beyond just the classroom. We truly love this school!

Both of my kids have been students since they were in 4K. One of my kids did need special attention and guidance. The administration went the extra mile for my child and for our family. Both kids excelled in classes.

Really don't understand how this school is rated so high. I went to 3 different elementary schools during my childhood and Richmond was the worst (the others were fantastic). There were teachers who picked favorites and were extremely lazy. The administration was terrible. Their discipline system in the upper grades was awful. There was an absolutely sexist janitor at the time who thought that girls couldn't do anything and he would say it right to kids' faces. The school was a joke.
