Around Wildwood At Northpointe

Wildwood At Northpointe’s amenities park is at its center, making it convenient for residents to drive to or walk to along one of the paved walking trails which wind through most of the community. The park features a junior-olympic pool with plenty of deck space around it for sunbathing. There’s a playground just a few steps away from the clubhouse. There are also two tennis courts, fenced and lighted making evening play possible during the summer months. The Tomball Independent School District administers to the public schools in the area. Wildwood and Canyon Pointe Elementary Schools are on the west and east sides of Wildwood At Northpointe, respectively. Oakcrest Intermediate School is on the community’s northwest corner and Tomball Memorial High School is on its northern boundary. Each of the schools have strong ratings by independent school ranking services and the district recently received the highest rating possible from the Texas Education Agency.

Most of the area’s activities and events are held at Tomball’s historic downtown and its railroad depot museum. Annual events include, the Honky Tonk Chili Challenge, the Rails and Tails Mudbug Fest (a crawfish festival), car shows, food truck rallies and music festivals. The Fourth of July, Halloween and Christmas are vigorously celebrated, each having plenty of fun activities for all ages.
