Being a real estate agent for 55+ communities is a fulfilling experience for me. The need for excellent communication is crucial for our clients in the 55+ age group, many of whom are not familiar with the area and seek insights into the lifestyle, both positive and challenging, of living in Arizona. I treat customers like family, making it not just a guiding principle but a way of life. Having been in the industry for a significant time, I understand that buying and selling homes are major life decisions. Representing my clients is a privilege, and it's an opportunity to positively impact their lives. Living in a 55+ community myself allows me to authentically validate the benefits of such communities. Experiencing the transition and excitement of moving to Arizona and into a 55+ community has been a personal journey, and now, I find joy in sharing these benefits with my clients. It's particularly exciting as I had never lived in a 55+ community before our move to Arizona.

Positioned conveniently between Phoenix and Tucson, the location provides easy access to shopping, theaters, airports, and various amenities. Talk to an agent that lives in a 55plus community and do your homework. There are many things about living in Arizona that are unfamiliar to new residents, including monsoons, the specific areas prone to flooding, and the challenges posed by termites in Arizona. My local expertise allows me to guide our 55+ clients, connecting them with qualified contractors and helping them navigate these unique aspects. Living in the community fosters trust and enhances my ability to assist clients effectively. I recommend that potential residents rent a home or do a stay and play for up to three nights to see if the community is a right fit. Talk to other homeowners. Have lunch or dinner at the community, take a tour of their models and amenities.
I enjoy playing pickleball in the early morning which gives me the rest of the day to focus on my work and my clients. The best part is defeating my husband in a match, despite his creative excuses for losing. With 45 years of marriage, three children, and six grandchildren, family holds a special place in my heart. We're fortunate to have one grandchild in Arizona, and spending time with her brings both joy and exhaustion, keeping us on our toes. We try to travel when work allows and I help out with volunteer work in various areas. Embracing an active lifestyle is one of the fantastic aspects of residing in a 55+ community, allowing us to stay youthful and resist the notion of growing old – or at least trying not to look it!
